Glen Park

Diamond Heights is centrally located, bordered by Noe Valley and Glen Canyon Park. The San Francisco Planning and Urban Research Association’s first project was Diamond Heights, with the intent to develop with the landscape. Here you will find sunlight and picturesque views of from bay to breakers. Developer Joseph Eichler’s first attempt at urban development was in Diamond Heights in the early 60s. Eichler crafted seven distinctive home designs with features such as in-floor radiant heat, floor-to-ceiling windows, tongue and groove ceilings, and courtyards wherever the geography allowed. Some of these rare gems are still owned by the original owners. Shopping and restaurants are located at the Diamond Heights Shopping Center and in nearby Noe Valley.
