Potrero Hill

Potrero Hill is the ray of sunshine in a city known for fog. The commercial strips along 18th and 20th streets permeate the neighborhood with that small-town feel. There are spectacular downtown views, constantly reminding residents they are still in San Francisco. Restaurants and bars are sprinkled throughout. Easy Caltrain and freeway access have made Potrero Hill a perfect for Peninsula or East Bay commuters. The residential community is tightly knit. You can catch that community spirit at the annual Halloween Potrero Hill Pet Parade, or at Farley’s over your morning coffee. Locals take advantage of Potrero Hill’s little-known things to do, such as the historic Potrero Hill Neighborhood House, the Anchor Steam Brewery tour and live music at Bottom of the Hill.
